“I’m an artist and a cook, born in Israel and drawing inspiration from the Ethiopean Israeli culture on which I was raised. In my paintings, one can see the influence of my parents’ Ethiopian culture. I strongly rely on Ethiopean culture but integrate Israeli culture, which is also a large part of me.“
