“Hey, my name is Or Yogev. I was born and raised in Kibbutz Dan, in the far north. Bezalel alumnus since 2016, my final project engaged with the story of my grandfather’s immigration to Eretz Israel in the 1940s. Since we know nothing about his migration, I incorporated Ethiopian folk tales into his journey. Some of these works are in this exhibition. I illustrated the children’s book “Why White Storks Have Black Wings and Blacks White Bellies” by Yossi Godard, which dealt with tensions and differences between two groups. Today, I am an illustrator for Wix.com.”
